What is The Orla Edit?+
The Orla Edit is an online interior design studio run by Orla, a First Class Honours interior designer based in Dublin. You can take a short style quiz, book a consultation, and receive a personalised design edit — fully online, with packages from €149.
How much does online interior design cost in Ireland?+
Packages start at €149 for The Design Edit (a 1-hour online consultation and written action plan). The Room Edit is €249, The Home Edit (two connected rooms) is €449, and The Signature Home Edit is priced on enquiry. Traditional Irish interior designers typically charge €1,500–€5,000+ per room.
What's included with The Design Edit (€149)?+
A 1-hour online consultation with Orla, personalised design advice (layout, colour, lighting and styling), and a detailed written action plan delivered after the call so you don't need to take notes.
How does the process work?+
You complete a short questionnaire and upload photos of your room. We meet online for a one-hour consultation to discuss your space and goals. Then you receive your personalised edit — depending on the package, that's anything from a written action plan to bespoke mood boards, layouts and curated shopping lists.
Do you serve clients outside Dublin?+
Yes. The service is fully online, so Orla works with clients across Ireland and the UK. In-home consultations are available in Dublin as part of The Signature Home Edit.
How long does it take to get my design?+
Most designs are delivered within 5–7 working days of your consultation. The Signature Home Edit is bespoke and timelines are agreed during the discovery call.
Is Orla a qualified interior designer?+
Yes. Orla holds a First Class Honours degree in Interior Design and has 5+ years of professional experience across kitchens, residential interiors, colour consultancy and rental properties. She is a registered member of the Interiors Association of Ireland (IDI).
Do you offer returning-client discounts?+
Yes. Returning clients receive 20% off when they book another consultation or package within six months.
How is this different from a traditional interior designer?+
Traditional interior designers usually require in-person visits, large minimum budgets and weeks of back-and-forth. The Orla Edit gives you the same professional design judgement — delivered online, in days, at a fraction of the cost.
